fertilizer friday & weekend flowers on friday: my no-roses post
due to black spots affecting my roses, i only got a few blooms.
so instead of sharing roses on this post,
i am sharing other blooms in my garden.
first, the sampaguita. my one and only sampaguita plant,
about 2 1/2 feet tall is giving me lots and lots of star-shaped fragrant blooms.
my blue daze also blooming after the storm,
though the leaves were severely damaged.
my free medinilla from the nursery giving me
her first blooms since we brought her home.
the oh-so-fragrant camia. i think it's their flowering season now.
blooms smell more heavenly during night time.
i am keeping a few blooms beside my table every morning,
a great way to start my day before working.
the thriving-on-neglect torenia.
i am not doing anything on these beauties.
i just ignore them, but in order for them to be noticed by me,
they never fail to give me blooms every single day.
a purple bell-shaped flowered i acquired yesterday from the market.
this would be nice addition to my garden.
i also bought a lemon-colored dona aurora.
the seller said it blooms profusely even on rainy days.
variegated leaf single-petal impatiens.
i am still thinking where i would place these.
dark pink impatiens, my favorite color.
and finally, dianthus which i also bought from the market.
i've got lots of casualties after the storm "mina"
with my mums, celosia, and balsam now in plant heaven.
i wish my roses would be better after i removed all the infected leaves.
i've got so much work to do in the garden after neglecting it for several days.
i will be rearranging some plants and sowing some seeds to replace what i've lost from the storm.
it's going to be a busy weekend
thanks to
and
for hosting!
